Italy: Taranto back to Superlega after 11 years

It was October 18, 2020 when Prisma Taranto began its journey, after ten years of absence from the world of Italian volleyball against the same rivals of the final, Gruppo Consoli Centrale del Latte Brescia and, after exactly seven months, they won the promotion to Superlega yesterday evening with the score of 3-1 (25:15, 25:20, 21:25, 25:22), in the decisive game-3 of the best-of-five serie.
To close the match was Padura Diaz (top scorer of the match with 22 points), who puts down the 25:22 ball and, after eleven years, Taranto back to Superlega!
Simone Parodi was named MVP of this game with 15 points, 65% in attack and two winning blocks.
