Polish volleyball club Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie closed another huge deal for the 2021/22 season.
After they signed Serbian Kovačević, they hired another popular outside hitter for the next season, Facundo Conte.
The 31-year-old Argentinean player is well known to the PlusLiga audience as, between 2013 and 2016, he performed at PGE Skra Bełchatów, winning the competition in his first season there. Later, he added the Cup and Super Cup to the trophies claimed with the same club.
The Best Outside Spiker of the 2015 CEV Champions League spent the last three years in Brazil where he first defended the colors of EMS Taubaté Funvic, with whom he won the national championship, for one year.
He then moved to Sada Cruzeiro, winning the Brazilian Cup twice and South American Club Championship once.
