On Saturday, in POOL B in Slagelse, Denmark, North Macedonia won a great battle vs. Israel: 3-1 was the final result, but partially it was 25:16, 30:32, 29:31, 23:25, in a match lasted 129 minutes! Gjorgiev stood out for the winners with 21 points. On the other match of the same Pool, the hosts destroys Cyprus in straight sets.
In Pool C in Luxembourg, Austria stun Croatia by winning the match at tie break, mostly thanks to Clemens Ecker, top scorer of the match with 26 points. With this defeat, Hungary (with an easy win over the hosts Luxembourg) rises on the top of the charts again.
