Belgium: Maaseik hire a 2019 EuroVolley winner

The Belgian volleyball vice-champions VC Greenyard Maaseik strengthened their roster with a Serbia National Team member and 2019 CEV European Championship winner.
It is Serbian Lazar Ćirović, a 29-year-old outside hitter, who came to the EuroMillions Volley League giants from Baniyas VC, United Arab Emirates, which was his second club last season after Turkey’s Sorgun Belediye.
He was brought by Maaseik to add the much-needed experience to the squad, which no longer exists with the departures of Jelte Maan, Pieter Verhees, and Just Dronkers.
