The man behind the success of the Slovenia Volleyball National Team at the 2021 CEV European Championship Alberto Giuliani announced on his Instagram that he’s leaving the post of the head coach.
The Italian expert was at the helm of the EuroVolley runner-up since 2019, and from 2020, he combined the role with coaching Polish club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.
He led Slovenia to two silver medals in the continental championships.
It is not yet known whether the 56-year-old will take over another national team or will focus entirely on working for Resovia but, according to the some verified rumors, he is mentioned as one of the candidates to replace Vital Heynen on Poland bench.
