The Drawing of Lots for the 2022 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship (from August 26 to September 11) was held today in Moscow, Russia, the host nation of the event, in which will partecipate 24 national teams, divided into six groups of four.
16 national teams will secure the placement in the next phase of the competition, the two best from each group, as well as the four best third-placed sides.
The matches of the World Championship in Russia will be played in 10 cities: Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, and Yaroslavl.
