Austria: Home victory for Ried, Waldviertel and Sokol

On Saturday three matches valid for Austrian Volley League Round 4 were played, and all ended with home wins.
UVC Weberzeile Ried, currently second in the charts behind leaders Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel, celebrated a clear 3-0 (25:21, 25:15, 25:15) success against TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg, who lost outside-hitter Matthias Glatz for an ankle injury in first set. It was the fourth win of the season for the winners, which means 12 points from six games. Top scorer was Tomasz Rutecki who made 19 points, while Lukas Glatz scored 11 points on the other side of the net.
About the leaders Waldviertel, they defeats newcomers Hypo Tirol with the same result (25:20, 25:21, 25:18) to take their fifth win in fifth game.
Top scorers were Marek Sulc and Lorin Leander Örley with 15 points each. Close the picture SG TJ Sokol V / Post SV Wien, that won the duel against VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt by 3-1 (25:17, 21:25, 25:15, 25:17) and now holds three successes from five games. Best scorers were Clemens Ecker (20) among the winners, and Arwin Kopschar (21) for Klagenfurt.
