Champions League: Hebar last team qualified fot 3rd Round

Hebar Pazardzhik filled in the last vacancy spot in the 3rd Round of the 2022 CEV Volleyball Champions League.
The champions of Bulgaria managed to defeat the Belarusian side Shakhtior Soligorsk on the road with a score of 1-3 (25:15, 21:25, 16:25, 22:25) in the rematch of the 2nd qualifying round. In the first leg, Hebar lost 2-3, and a victory with a score of 3-0 or 3-1 would make them qualify for the next round.
However, the team commanded by Argentine Martín Costa (temporarily in place of Italian Camillo Placì, who has health problems) had a hard start but it fought hard in the continuation of the match, also thanks to the entry of setter Gjorgiev in place of Stanev, on 7-5 of the second set.
Todor Aleksiev was the top scorer among the winners with 22 points (72% efficiency in attack – 21/29, one error, blocked twice).
