Russia: Zenit derby to Kazan side, fourth win in row for Dinamo Moscow, Dinamo LO sinks under the blows of Sapozhkov and the others of Round 7

First 6 matches of Round 7 of the 2021/22 Superliga Parimatch were played today. With today’s win, Zenit-Kazan further increased the advantage in head-to-head duels in the Russian top-flight with Zenit St. Petersburg at 8-2.

Among the other results, resounding comeback of Yugra Samotlor Nizhnevartovsk on the field of Dinamo LO who, also due a bad day by Ivovic (32% and 5% efficiency in attack) wasted 2-0 to fall under the blow of young gint Sapozhkov, author of 28 points with 62% in attack and 49% efficiency.
Other comeback from 2-0 to 2-3 was the one of Ural Ufa against last-placed Orenburg.

Fakel proved worthy rivals to the titleholders Dinamo Moscow only in the first set, which they lost 27-29. Easy win in 3 sets also for Belogorie Belgorod, against Yenisey Krasnoyarsk). Waiting for postponement, the victory of Gazprom-Yugra Surgut over ASK Nizhniy Novgorod closed the picture.
For the winners this was the third successive win. They beat ASK 3-1 (25:22, 25;23, 22:25, 25:19), with 15 points from Ilya Kovalev and 83% attack (10/12) from Artem Dovgan.
