Mevza League: seventh win in a row for defending champions

In Mevza League main round, ACH Volley LJUBLJANA celebrated another impressive victory on Wednesday night.
The defending champions needed just 73 minutes to defeat SK Zadruga AICH/DOB by 3-0 (25:19, 25:21, 25:22).
Top scorers at the Tivoli Hall were Matej Kök and Marino Marelic with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
On Friday, the winners will get their next opportunity to record another win at underdogs UVC Holding Graz.
Already last Monday, OK Merkur MARIBOR celebrated a 3-1 (25:17, 22:25, 25:22, 25:20) away win against TJ Spartak MYJAVA and therefore, Slovenia’s reigning national champions are level with compatriots ACH Volley Ljubljana, both with 21 points.
SK Zadruga AICH/DOB are currently sitting in third place in the standing with 12 points, and they will face OK Merkur Maribor next Saturday.
