France: in advances of Round 10, Nice defeats Cannes in derby, Tourcoing destroys Narbonne
2 min read
Two matches valid for French Ligue A Round 10 were played today, on Friday.
In the big match, a back in business Tourcoing destroyed the super favorite (at least…looking at the current standings) Narbonne (still without Zanotti) with a clear 3-0.
The Paes’ side has finally been effective in serving (8 team aces and 16 errors, 4 aces by Rammé) and attacked with 62% (despite 0 out of 5 by the same Rammé), well managed by Argentine setter Sanchez, named MVP of the match.
As for the Côte d’Azur derby between Nice and Cannes, it is even more crisis for the titleholders, still without Nelli, Georgiev and Manuhohalalo: this time they lost 3-1 against a great Nice, suffering blows by Bruno Lima (28 points, 66% in attack and 3 blocks, in addition to the well-deserved MVP award).
