Mevza League: three easy points for Kamnik and Myjava

Two matches of Mevza League Main Round were played on Sunday.
Another heavy defeats for UVC Holding Graz, this time against Slovenia’s OK Calcit Kamnkik who needed just 62 minutes to celebrate a clear 3-0 (25:17, 25:15, 25:17) over Austria’s reigning national champions. This result takes the winners to the fourth place in the current standings with ten points (3-5 w/l). Top scorers of the match were Kemal Imsirovic (12) and Michael Ladner (7) for the hosts, Miha Bregar (13) and Danilo Pavlovic and Diko Puric (8 each) for Kamnik.
In the second match of the day, TJ Spartak Myjava secured a 3-0 (25:17, 25:23, 25:16) away win over last-placed VKP Bratislava in Slovakian derby. Therefore, the winners moved up to seventh place in the standing, overtaking UVC Holding Graz themselves. Top scorers were Daouda Yacoubou (22) and Michal Trubac (7); Michal Zeman (12), Matus Konc and Patrik Pokopec (11 each).
