After saying good bye to German outside-hitter Christian Fromm and the arrival of middle-blocker of Portuguese national team Filip Cveticanin, defending champions Cannes (currently at last place of Ligue A charts) welcomes a new head coach: Frenchman/Serbian Nikola Matijasevic.
He has a rich international career between Tunisia, Latvia, Montegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Greece.
In France he was on the bench of Bouvais, Chaumont (from 2009 to 2014) and Rennes (from 2014 to 2020).
