Poland: Kovacevic and Konarski down Resovia, Jastrzebski keep the second place

Other two matches of 2021/22 Plusliga Round 13 were played on Saturday, with victories of Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and Jastrzebski Wegiel.
Resovia couldn’t do anything against Zawiercie on the home court as the away side managed to score a 3-1 win 25:15, 25:20, 18:25, 25:22.
Uros Kovacevic (24 points, 54% in attack, 38% efficiency and 3 blocks) and Dawid Konarski (22 points, 53% in attack, 43% efficiency, 3 blocks and 3 aces) were the top scorers on the winning side, and a match to forget for Conte (only 8 points, with -12% efficiency in attack).
Bad day in attack for Resovia, who suffered their seventh seasonal defeat: 13 points, 41% and 24% efficiency in attack for Deroo, 35% and 19% efficiency in attack for Muzaj, and 13% and -38% efficiency in attack for Cebulj, replaced by
Buszek after two sets, because third outside-hitter Szerszen was absent).

On the evening match, Jastrzebski didn’t have any difficulties in a clash against the 12th placed team Czarni Radom, as they destroyed the rival in three sets 3-0 (25:18, 25:9, 25:22).
Jan Hadrava was the top scorer for the winners with 14 points, while Tomasz Fornal added 12 and Lukasz Wisniewski 10 points.
