Poland: PGE Projekt Warszawa sweep Indykpol AZS Olsztyn in last game of Round 21 (for now)

Round 21 of 2025/26 Plusliga continued today with the clash between Indykpol AZS Olsztyn and PGE Projekt Warszawa, ended in just three sets in favor of the visiting side, 0-3 (21:25, 19:25, 24:26), who consolitated second place returning at -2 from current leaders Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, victorious yesterday on the field of Barkom Każany Lwów, also in straight sets.
The visiting side claimed the opening set 25–21 before extending their advantage with a solid 25–19 win in the second. Olsztyn showed resilience in a hard-fought third set, but the team from country’s capital held firm in the decisive moments to seal the match 26–24.
Setter Jan Firlej guided the winners with confidence and precision, earning MVP honors for his performance, while Bartosz Bednorz and Linus Weber led the charge with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Karol Borkowski topped all scorers with 16 points for the hosts.
Round 21 will close on Tuesday, March 17 with Energa Trefl Gdańsk who will welcome BOGDANKA LUK Lublin, while Plusliga will continue next Friday with the advance of Round 22 between ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn.
