New Champions League week start today. Cancelled also Perugia – Cannes

1 min read

CEV Champions League Volley returns today with the first matches of Leg 4, the first of the second part of the group stage, and everything seems to be still to play for.
The first exception, however, is in Pool A, where the Polish side of Jastrzebski Wegiel sits on top with three victories in as many matches, and 9 points.
Berlin Recycling Volleys from Pool D and Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia from Pool E are the other two teams having a perfect record so far, maximum wins and points.

About this week, in addition to Berlin Recycling Volleys and VfB Friedrichschafen, also Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia was awarded with a 3-0 win (25:0, 25:0, 25:0) without playing in accordance with CEV Competition Regulation. In fact, the match initially scheduled on Thursday at their Palabarton against France’s As Cannes Volley Ball, has been cancelled.
