Austria: Klagenfurt takes a big step towards quarterfinals. Sokol defeats Hypo Tirol in recovery match of regular season

VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt took a big step for a ticket in Austrian Volley League quarterfinals, as they prevailed in their home soil against VBC TLC Weiz by 3:1 (25:15, 25:23, 26:28, 25:17) to increase their lead in Zwischenrunde, Intermediate Round, to six points over the fourth-placed Hypo Tirol volleyball team.
Arwin Kopschar was the top scorer of the match with 27 points, 3 aces, 3 blocks and 55% in attack, while Mark Kremer made 24 points for Weiz (1 ace, three blocks and 37% in attack).

Zwischenrunde leaders TJ Sokol V/Post SV Wien won a delayed match valid for Austrian Volley League regular season and initially scheduled last november in Innsbruck by 1-3 (25:18, 19:25, 20:25, 14:25) and took revenge on newcomers Hypo Tirol VT for the 5-set defeat on Saturday.
