Italy: Lube and Perugia victorious to continue the race for leadership. Verona defeat Milano at tie break

Three advances valid for italian Superlega CredemBanca Round 20 or, if you prefer, Round 7 of second leg, were played today.
Lube Civitanova and Perugia have continued race for a pol position in the competition, as both teams scored 3-0 victories on home courts to stay on the winning path.

Currently top-placed Perugia have scored another win, by beating Ravenna, still winless, 3-0 (25:18, 25:23, 25:16) without lof of difficult.
And, in fact, numbers are all in favor of the winners: 4 aces vs. 0, 64% positive reception vs. 43%, 57% efficiency in attack vs. 35%, and 10 winning blocks vs. 4.
Sebastian Sole was the best scorer and MVP of the match with 15 points (77% in attack and 5 winning blocks), while Oleh Plotnytskyi contributed with 14, Thijs Ter Host with 12 and Kamil Rychlicki with 11. On the other side, Marko Vukasinovic had 11 points.

Lube have defeated Vibo Valentia with the same result, 3-0 (25:17, 25:17, 25:12). They didn’t have any difficulties against the rival and from the beginning of the game, it was obvious that Lube are going to take 3 points.
Marlon (14 points), Lucarelli (13 points) and Robertlandy (12 points) were the top scorers on the winning side.

A very interesting match was played between Verona and Milano: the home side was slightly better, beating the rival in the tie-break, to stay undefeated at home since last 31 October.
Rok Muzic was the top scorer of the game with 26 points, but great performance also for Qafarena, who ended the game with 21 points and 71% in attack.
The U.S. outside hitter Thomas Jaeschke had 25 points on the other side, who suffered the bad day of Patry and a checkered Ishikawa.
