Austria: Klagenfurt defeat Weiz to secure second place in intermediate Round

VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt celebrated a 0-3 (17:25, 23:25, 22:25) win on the field of VBC TLC Weiz on Sunday afternoon to secure second place in the Austrian Volley League Zwischenrunde, the intermediate round.
The Carinthian are now five points ahead of today’s rivals who, however, suffered the absence of both opposites Kremer and Pekar, and with Schober on the field in this position (top scorer among the hosts with 12 points).
In addition to untouchable leaders Sokol, also Klagenfurt and Weiz are qualified to quarterfinals, while TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg and the newcomers Hypo Tirol will play for avoid relegation.
