France: Paris and Chaumont win recovery of Round 17 and 19. And it’s almost brawl!

Two recovery matches of French Ligue A were played today.

In recovery of Round 17 Paris defeated 3-1 in comeback Cambrai. Great protagonist of the match the Brazilian middle-blocker Renan Michelucci, MVP with 17 points, 71% in attack, 6 winning blocks and 1 ace.

In the other game, the recovery of Round 19 between Chaumont (who won at the tie break, recovering from 1-2) and Nantes almost ended in a brawl.
Coach Henno, who lost starting setter Bazin during the warm up due a calf problem (but with Bartos on the field), has not accepted the (questionable) foul whistled to Lopez, who earned the 13-12 point in the fifth set, and was the most nervous at the end of the game. In fact, he continued with the protests addressed to the referees. Some players of Chaumont, presumably provoked, suddenly fell on him arriving from the other side of the field, in a bickering fortunately resolved without consequences, apart from Mergarejo with the torn jersey!
In any case, Aciobanitei was named MVP of the match, with 15 points and 60% in attack.
