Turkey: Spor Toto – Fenerbahçe 0-3 in first big match of Round 25

In first of two big match of AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi Round 25, the penultimate round (second in scheduled on Monday, program below), Spor Toto suffered a heavy home defeat against Fenerbahce who, led by the very good setter Marouf that has recorded great numbers in attack (83% for Hidalgo, 75% for Toy, 50% for Louati and 61% in total).
With this result, the guys around coach Castellani remain at least for another Round ahead Ziraat in fight for second place (recall that Halkbank already won regular season), while Spor Toto, on the other hand, could be surpassed from Arkas Izmir in fight for fourth place, the last in Efelerligi for playoffs’ qualification, even though on Monday head coach Glenn Hoag’s side will face unbeaten Halkbank.
