Poland: Jastrzebski defeat Gdańsk after a tie break marathon in recovery of Round 19 to win regular season (temporarily…)

First of two recovery matches of 2021/22 Plusliga has been played today.
It ended at tie break the duel between Trefl Gdansk (who wasted a 2-0 lead ane 6 match points) and Jastrzebski Wegiel still without Gladyr and Clevenot (25:23, 25:23, 22:25, 20:25, 20:23) who, with this result, officially win regular season!
However, ZAKSA need only one point in recovery on Monday, again with Trefl Gdańsk, to regain first place in the standings. Winiarski’s side, on the other hand, need a victory to compete in playoffs in place of Projekt Warszawa.
A tie break would make everyone agree!
Tomasz Fornal top-scored the winners today with 25 points, including 4 blocks.
