Poland: ZAKSA defeat Aluron in four sets to join Jastrzebski in Final!

Grand Finale of 2021/22 Plusliga will be played again between Jastrzebski Wegiel and ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle.
In decisive Game 3 played today, the guys around coach Cretu, after a 0-1 disadvantage and also 7-9 in second set, defeated Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie (with Cavanna on the field in place of starting setter Cavanna) by 3-1 (19:25, 25:21, 25:19, 25:13).
Decisive also the entrances of Zalinski and Rejno in place of Sliwka and Smith. Top scorers and MVP of the match Semeniuk, who ended the game with 23 points, 51% and 38% efficiency in attack, 1 block and 3 aces.

The guests start the match better, with a counterattack from Conte and an ace from Kovacevic for the ”
0-2 in first set. An error from Sliwka in reception and Semeniuk in attack give Aluron the 1-5, and another error, this time from Smith in attack is worth the 4-9. Coach Cretu stops the game, but nothing to do as Aluron put down the ball of 5-12. Rejno replaces Smith on the field, but Aluron keep the lead until the end, and close with Semeniuk’s error from the service line, 19-25.

Second set, and Aluron continue their fight, and a winning block from Conte and then Konarski over Kaczmarek and Semeniuk respectively forced coach Cretu to change another player: out Sliwka, in Zalinski. Kovacevic put down the ball of 2-5, but Zalinski put down the ball of 4-5 and Huber blocks Konarski to level the score, 5-5.
Niemiec find an ace, 7-9, but Zalinski levels the score again, 9-9. Another block on is worth the 11-10, and then Rejno signs with an ace on Conte for the 12-10. Aluron manage to level the score at 13-13, and an ace from Zniszczol is worth the 13-14, but then ZAKSA start to play like the team that win regular season: Janus blocks Conte for the 15-14, Huber blocks Konarski for the 16-14, Zalinski put down the counterattack of 19-16 and also the ace of 21-17, and counterattack also for Semeniuk for a heavy 22-17. Zalinski scores the ace of 23-17 and, despite the guests save 3 set points, an error of Kovacevic from the service line close the set 25-21.

In third set, first break point bears the sign of Kovacevic, but ZAKSA increase again their level, with three great actions close by Kaczmarek, 3-2, Semeniuk for the 5-3 and even the 9-5. In the middle, also a heavy error from Kovacevic. Aluron suffered even a red card, 11-6 and a net touch on the next action. In Malinowski in place of Konarski, but nothing to do, and Huber close with a clear 25-19.

Fourth set, and again a great ZAKSA: counterattack from Semeniuk, 1-0, an error from Conte, 2-0, Huber’s winning block on Malinowski for the 3-0, Rejno’s ace for the 4-0, counterattack from Semeniuk for the 6-1, and a winning block from Janus on Conte, 8-2.
Set continue with an ace from Semeniuk for the 9-2, a counterattack from Zalinski for the 11-3, and a block from Janus on Kovacevic, that is worth a heavy 12-3. Nothing to do, and set and match are close 25-13 with an error in attack from Depowski.
