Poland: the season is over for Norbert Huber

In Game 3 of Plusliga Final, in which Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle was defeated by Jastrzębski Węgiel, at 19-19 of fourth set, strong middle-blocker Norbert Huber got injured and had to leave the field.
Subsequent examinations confirmed the Achilles tendon injury, and the player will undergo a surgical procedure and then a long rehabilitation. So his season is over, and he’ll miss both other matches (Game 4 and eventual Game 5) of final series, as well as CEV Champions League Final in Ljubljana, Slovenia, scheduled on Sunday May 22.
