France: all results of Round 6 – first win for Nice. Montpellier is back – third win in a row!

Round 6 of 2022/23 Ligue A has been entirely played tonight with all 7 matches in program.
The day started with a tie break victory of Plessis-Robinson over Poitiers 3-2 (25:22, 25:21, 23:25, 20:25, 15:12), despite the impressive performance of Gabriel Da Silva among the guests, who ended the game with 30 points and 62% in attack!
Tie break victory also for Nice, who defeated Paris (25:21, 19:25, 25:22, 22:25, 16:14). With captain Steven Marshall on the field as libero (he ended the game with 54% of positive reception), this was Nice’s first seasonal win. François Rebeyrol was named MVP of the game with 19 points, all in attack, and 54%.
Great away win for Narbonne, who back to the victory after two defeats in a row against Chaumont and Tours. They defeated Toulouse by 1-3 (25:21, 23:25, 22:25, 18:25), with 27 points by Willner Rivas (1 ace, 2 winning blocks and 62% in attack), and 20 by MVP Luca Vettori (46% in attack).
Away win with the same result also for Tourcoing, on the field of Cambrai (25:17, 23:25, 22:25, 18:25), despite the absence of Ryley Barnes (on the bench), and for defending champions Montpellier, on the field of Nantes (20:25, 24:26, 25:22, 20:25). This was their third win in a row after a disastrous start of the season.
Another win also for current leaders Chaumont, who defeated at home newcomets Saint-Nazaire by 3-1 (25:20, 29:27, 16:25, 27:25), and for Tours, who celebrated a home straight sets win over Sète (25:22, 25:22, 26:24).
