Mevza League: 3 points for Kamnik, leaders Ljubljana and Aich/Dob in last games of the week

The week of 2022/23 Mevza League Main Round has been completed today with last three games.

Two teams from Slovenia celebrated straight sets victory on the road: OK Calcit Kamnik won on the field of Croatia’s MOK Mursa Osijek (23:25, 19:25, 11:25) without problems, with the only exception of first set, while absolute competition leaders ACH Volley Ljubljana down Slovakia’s TJ Spartak Myjava (20:25, 23:25, 16:25) with good performance of their middle blockers – 15 points by captain Alen Šket through 62% in attack, 1 ace and 1 block, and 12 points by Danijel Koncilja, with 1 ace and 1 block too, and 83% in attack.

Close the picture the Austrian derby between SK Zadruga AICH/DOB and VCA Amstetten NÖ, won by the hosts who, with this result, confirmed themselves to second place in the standings. in straight sets too, partially 25:19, 25:17 and 25:22. Stefan Kajbald ended the game as top scorer with 14 points, all in attack, through 78%, while Zlatan Yordanov and Alpar Szabo also contributed with 12 too. Nobody on the losing side had a double digit.
