Coppa Italia: Trento join Piacenza in final after a thrilling match against Milano!

What an amazing Game!
In the second match of the Del Monte Coppa Italia SuperLega semifinals, we had the opportunity to see really a great volleyball show.

Allianz Milano faced a very demanding challenge against Trento, and they touched the win, taking a 2-0 lead in set!
However, with the exceptional play and leadership skills of Matey Kaziyski (together with some good moves of Alessandro Michieletto and the rest of the team) Itas Trentino was able to turn the game around and advance to the Grand Final, in which they will face Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza who eliminated Perugia prior to this game!

Itas Trentino emerged victorious with a score of 3-2 (33:35, 22:25, 25:19, 25:16, 15:9) despite being down 0-2.
Yuki Ishikawa, one of Milano key players, suffered an injury during the third set, which undoubtedly affected Allianz Milano’s level of play. He won, in fact, first two sets (9 points through 57% in attack in first, 6 and 53% in the second), while the next two beat the signatures of Kaziyski and Michieletto, authors respectively of 27 and 23 points or, if you prefer, 50 points in two!

Yuki Ishikawa scored 21 points for Milano, despite playing less than three sets, while Osniel Melgarejo added 15 points and Jean Patry 14 points for Milano.
