Slovenia: ACH Volley Ljubljana won 14th Slovenian Cup in club’s history!

In Velenje, ACH Volley Ljubljana claimed their 14th Slovenian Cup by defeating Calcit Volley Kamnik after an exciting 3-2 (24:26, 25:22, 25:23, 22:25, 15:10) .
Despite a valiant effort of the rivals, they were unable to secure their fifth cup title in club’s history.
Before the cup finals, ACH Volley and Calcit Kamnik had already met four times during the season, and the team from country’s capital won all four matches.
But none of the victories were dominant, as the Kamnik-based club arrived at the final with high hopes of causing an upset, and in fact they played really a high level volleyball, but ACH Volley showed more determination in the key moments of the game to deservedly win the trophy.

With this result, ACH Volley Ljubljana has once again confirmed their position as a dominant force in Slovenian volleyball!
