France | Ligue B | Saint-Jean D’Illac last semifinalist – Ajaccio defeated at tie break in Game 5!

All semifinalists of 2022/23 Ligue B now are known. Saint Quentin, Mende and Cannes, are joined by Saint-Jean D’Illac, who defeated Ajaccio 3-2 (25:12, 25:27, 23:25, 25:18, 15:10) to close the best-of-five series with the same result.
To make the difference today are an amazing performance from the service line, as the winners scored as many as 16 aces (8 from captain Gauthier Bonnefoy, author also of a great match made of 20 points, 2 blocks and 50% in attack), against the only 4 of Ajaccio. Lucas Lilembo ended the game as top scorer with 27 points (2 aces, 1 block and 53% in attack), while Florian Lacassie tallied 23 for Ajaccio, that come out with head held high after ending regular season at 8th place and reaching the quarterfinals of Coupe de France.

Semifinals (best-of-three) will start on April 8 (Game 1), will continue on April 15 (Game 2), and on April 21 with eventual Game 3.
