Russia: Kazan destroy Dynamo Moscow in Final Game 1. Novosibirsk win after a great comeback for 3rd place

In Game 1 of 2022/23 PARI Суперлига мужчины, Russian Superliga, Final best-of-five, regular season leaders Zenit Kazan easily defeat No.2 Dynamo Moscow with a clear 3-0 (25:19, 25:20, 25:17).
The team from country’s capital never entered into the game, and the final remain balanced until 18-18 of first set, when 4 errors of Dynamo, 2 by Sokolov, give the decisive break to the hosts, who closed with an ace by top scorer Mikhaylov.
In second set the giants from Tatarsan region take a 6-2 lead with two aces by Kononov and Deroo, keeping it until the end, while in third set, this time with Volvich, the difference is made again from the service line with the decisive break from 12-11 to 16-11.
Despite several problems in reception (37% of team positivity) Zenit is absolutely better in attack: Mikhaylov close the game with 15 points and 63%, Deroo with 13 and 65%.
On the other side of the net, despite a good Sokolov, lot of problems for Podlesnykh with 17% and replaced in second sets by Denis Bogdan. The best-of-five series will continued in Kazan again on Wednesday May 3, and then in Moscow.

In final for third place, No3. in regular season Zenit St. Petersburg suffered the comeback of No.4 Lokomotiv Novosibirsk and wasted a 2-0 lead (21:25, 23:25, 25:15, 26:24, 13:15).
