VNL 2023: Ferdinando De Giorgi announces Italy’s roster

At the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, the Italian Volleyball Team head coach, Ferdinando De Giorgi announced the names of the 30 players for the upcoming Volleyball Nations League 2023 during a presentation conference.
The reigning World Champions will begin VNL on June 6th in Ottawa, Canada, where they will face Argentina.
The second week of the tournament will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from June 21st to 25th while, in the final stage of the intercontinental phase, they will compete in Pasay City from July 4th to 8th.

All 30 players for the Italian national team:

Setters: Simone Giannelli, Riccardo Sbertoli, Paolo Porro, Marco Falaschi
Opposites: Yuri Romano’, Fabrizio Gironi, Alessandro Bovolenta, Lorenzo Sala, Tommaso Guzzo
Outside hitters: Daniele Lavia, Alessandro Michieletto, Tommaso Rinaldi, Francesco Recine, Mattia Bottolo, Giulio Magalini, Davide Gardini, Oreste Cavuto
