Russia: Fakel Novy Urengoy Parts Ways with Head Coach Roman Yakovlev

Fakel Novy Urengoy decided to end coooperation with head coach Roman Yakovlev. The former player, who joined the coaching staff in February 2018, served as an assistant to italian expert Camillo Placi and Mikhail Nikolaev before assuming the role of head coach in February 2022.
Under his command, Fakel secured a commendable 7th place in the last season, following their 10th place finish the previous year.
The team from Novy Urengoy appointed Roman Empolov as their new head coach.
