2 min read
Despite another good performance of star Aleksandar Nikolov, the only player in double digit on the losing side with 13 points to his name, Bulgaria succumbed 3-0 (25:22, 25:21, 26:24) against Pool 2 hosts Japan in Nagoya.
A result that rise Japan to the top of the standings.
Outside hitter and captain Yuki Ishikawa was once again decisive, ending the game as top scorer with 17 points, while Nishida and Takahashi also contributed with 12 and 10 points respectively.
