Cuba: Robertlandy Simon declares a pause from National Team season

In a disclosure to his followers, Robertlandy Simon Aties revealed on Instagram that he will be sitting out this year’s national team season.

The announcement came as a surprise to many of his fans and fellow volleyball enthusiasts.
The Cuban superstar explained his decision, citing the necessity of prioritizing his health.
Emphasizing the importance of this recovery period, he mentioned that it would enable him to extend his professional career and continue to play in the upcoming seasons.

In his post, he wrote
“I wanted to tell you that this year, unfortunately, I’ve made the decision not to play for the national team. Not because I don’t want to, but simply to fully recover physically.”
He also expressed hope that his fans would understand his decision and ended his message with a “a hug.”
