France: Round 2 continues! Paris, Plessis Robinson, Chaumont and Saint Nazaire ok. Tours ko!

Definitely not a good start for Narbonne who, after losing the first game of this new season at home against Paris, and also the first leg of preliminary of CEV Cup in French derby against Nantes, suffered a defeat also in their first away game, on the field of a very good Chaumont, able to close the game in just three sets (25:22, 25:20, 25:9). Narbonne fought in the first two, but eventually collapsed in the third one, ended 25-9.

The hosts were better in all element, starting from attack (53% of team performance to 38%), blocking (10 to 4), serving (7 aces to 1), and reception (68% positive to 46%). In Nice’s jersey, German opposite Simon Hirsch was the most prolific player with 18 points to his name, 3 winning blocks but with only 41% in attack.
Tomorrow Toulouse will face Nantes Rezé while, at 5pm too, Tourcoing will face Poitiers to close Round 2.
