Here are the six teams who will play the 2023 Club World Championship!

2 min read

All ready for the FIVB Men’s Volleyball Club World Championship 2023 who will be played in Bengaluru, India from December 6/10.

Defending champions, Italy’s Sir Susa Vim Perugia are preparing to defend their title against Turkish giants Halkbank Ankara, Brazil’s duo dynamo Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei and Itambé Minas, Japan’s Suntory Sunbirds, and hosts Ahmedabad Defenders, from India.

This lineup comes after a twist—two titans of the last CEV Champions League, Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Jastrzębski Węgiel who stepped back, thus replaced by Perugia and Halkbank.
The brazilian side sucured their ticket by reigning over the South American Championship, the Sunbirds shone in Asia, and the hosts, Ahmedabad Defenders, earned their title in India’s domestic league.

It is also noteworthy to talk about the absence of club teams from the African Confederation, CAVB, and NORCECA, two significant members of the FIVB.
