Challenge Cup: also Akaa Volley, Levski Sofia and Projekt Warszawa to quarterfinals!

2023/24 CEV Challenge Cup Round of 16 continued today with other three games and other three teams who joined Galatasaray and Fonte Bastardo to the next stage of the competition, the quarterfinals.
The first one come from Finland, Akaa Volley, who showed their superiority also in Czech Republic, on the field ot Aero Odolena Voda, winning the game with the score of 1-3 (25:23, 19:25, 19:25, 23:25) with 16 winning blocks and 16 points from top scorer Matej Smidl (including 3 aces and 48%
in attack).
Qualified also Bulgaria’s Levski Sofia, despite a 3-2 (21:25, 27:25, 25:23, 15:25, 15:12) defeat in Romania, in the field of Dinamo Bucuresti and Polish powerhouse Projekt Warszawa, who eliminated Saint Nazaire VB Atlantique after a 1-3 (24:26, 25:23, 22:25, 18:25) win in France, with 22 points from Bartlomiej Boladz.
