Poland: Asseco Resovia Rzeszów close fragmented Round 23 with a straight sets win over Jastrzębski Węgiel

Plusliga has been completed today with the clash between Asseco Resovia Rzeszów and JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel, ended in straight sets in favor of the home side, 3-0 (25:22, 25:17, 25:23)
The winners proved more effective in attack and held the edge at the net, outblocking their rivals 12–8, while Yacine Louati led the charge with 14 points to his name and was named MVP. Michał Gierżot was the top scorer of the match with 16 points for Jastrzębski Węgiel, while Anton Brehme added 11.
Plusliga will continue on Saturday with first three games of rescheduled Round 14, Round 1 of second leg, first one before playoffs with regular season winners Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie who will welcome ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, newcomers InPost ChKS Chełm will face PGE Projekt Warszawa while, in the evening, BOGDANKA LUK Lublin will welcome last placed and already relegated Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa.
