Poland: 3 points for Gdańsk and Bełchatów in last games of Round 13 before Christmas

This victory propels the winners closer to the top six, securing a coveted spot in the Tauron Polish Cup. Kewin Sasak was the most prolific player with 15 points, closely followed by Mikołaj Sawicki, who not only scored 14 points but also bagged the MVP title, boasting an 57% attack efficiency, including 1 ace and 1 block.
Despite a valiant effort from Olsztyn, with Manuel Armoa and Alan Souza both scoring 12 points, it wasn’t enough to stop the determined Gdańsk team.
In the evening, PGE GEiK Skra Bełchatów celebrated their victory against Enea Czarni Radom, closing the match with the score of 1-3 (23:25, 25:22, 19:25, 26:28).
The hosts gave a tough fight, but ultimately, setter Grzegorz Łomacz made the difference and emerged as the best player of the match.
For Enea Czarni Radom, key contributions came from Brodie Hofer, who scored 19 points, and Meljanac, top scorer with 24 points to his name while, on the winning side, along with Łomacz, Dawid Konarski tallied 24 points and Aciobăniței added 21 points leading their team to victory.
Round 13 will continued on Thursday, December 28, with the game between Barkom Każany Lwów and GKS Katowice.
