Poland: Round 14 continues – 3 points for Częstochowa and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. Resovia win a marathon against Lublin

After first three games played yesterday, Round 14 of 2023/24 Plusliga continued today with other three matches.

Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie secured a 1-3 (20:25, 17:25, 25:21, 20:25) victory on the field Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn Koźle, marking their fourth consecutive win. Despite the commendable performance by ZAKSA’s key players, including Łukasz Kaczmarek who scored 24 points, this was their seventh defeat of the season. The MVP of Aluron, setter Miguel Tavares, played a significant role in securing this win.
The most thrilling match of this da was between Asseco Resovia Rzeszów and Bogdanka LUK Lublin which went down to a five set battle, 3-2 (24:26, 22:25, 26:24, 30:28, 15:9).
Asseco Resovia’s Jakub Kochanowski stood out and earned himself the MVP title for his pivotal role in leading his team to a hard fought victory. Despite having six opportunities to win the match, Lublin was unable to take advantage and only managed to earn just one point.
