Coupe de France: defending champions Tours last semifinalist. Paris defeated in 3 sets

After Nantes, Montpellier and Tourcoing, who won their respective games yesterday, also defending champions Tours claimed their ticket for 2023/24 Coupe De France semifinals after defeating Paris in just three sets, 3-0 (25:18, 26:24, 25:21), struggling only in second set and in very start of third one, in which they had to recover 3 points.
Better in attack, with 53% of team performance compared to the rivals’ 40%, to make the difference also the 11 winning blocks (6 for Paris), 3 for MVP Nicolas Mendez (14 points through 41% in attack and 2 aces too), while top scorer Aboubacar Drame Neto also contributed with 16 (54% in attack and 2 blocks), and Michael Parkinson added 10 (70% in attack and 3 blocks).
Kento Miyaura was the only player in double digit for the team from country’s capital, tallying 15 points through 50% in attack and 1 ace.
