Champions League: Ziraat down Guaguas to take first step towards semifinals

After the win of all three Italian sides in their respective games played yesterday, first leg of 2023/24 CEV Champions League Quarterfinals is over today with the away win of Turkish powerhouse Ziraat Bankkart Ankara in Spain, on the field of Guaguas Las Palmas, 1-3 (25:17, 23:25, 21:25, 23:25).
But the game, lasted more than two hours, wasn’t easy for Ziraat, who struggled more than expected against a team that reached a historic result by playing this stage of European elite club competition.
