Poland: Norbert Huber in Jastrzębski Węgiel also in 2024/25

2 min read

Norbert Huber will be a Jastrzębski Węgiel player also next season, 2024/25.
The Polish club, currently leaders in Plusliga and fresh from reaching the Champions League semi-final after eliminating Piacenza, as well as very serious candidate for the title has formalized the renewal of hus contract until 2025.

Former player of Czarni Radom, PGE Skra Bełchatów and ZAKSA, the middle blocker native of Brzozów, 25 years old and 207 centimeters tall, is an absolute leader in the Polish championship this year, so much so that he leads the blocks ranking with thirty winning blocks ahead of the second (Szymon Jakubiszak, with the jersey of Olstzyn) and seven MVP awards.

The contract extension with Norbert Huber was one of our priorities. We are talking about one of the best, if not the best player in the world in his role, who this season has incredible numbers in attack and blocking, but who has also integrated perfectly into this team, becoming one of the leaders. It wasn’t easy to keep a player of this class for another year, but having succeeded is a source of great satisfaction. I am convinced that with Norbert on the roster we will achieve our ambitious goals both this and next season,” said Adam Gorol, president of Jastrzębski Węgiel.
