Italy: Verona and Civitanova win Semifinals of Playoffs 5th place

Tournament of 2023/24 Superlega CredemBanca Playoffs for 5th place is almost over with both semifinals played this evening.
Rana Verona, led by MVP Noumory Keita, author of 20 points through 53% in attack, down Valsa Group Modena with the score of 3-1 (25:22, 25:22, 23:25, 25:19), despite 23 points from top scorer Vlad Davyskiba.
In final, Verona will face Cucine Lube Civitanova who won at tie break on the field of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, 2-3 (18:25, 24:26, 25:21, 27:25, 12:15).
Among the winners, MVP and top scorer with 25 points to his name Mattia Bottolo, followed by Adis Lagumdzija who added 23, the same of Yoandy Leal for Piacenza.
