France: New faces for Sète (but also confirmations and who said good bye to the club)

Ligue A club Arago De Sète officially welcome some new
players for 2024/25 season, and said good bye to others.

In addition to young Libero Enzo Lopez, from France Avenir 2024, setter from Puerto Rico Arturo Iglesias, last season in Plessis Robinson, Canadian outside hitter Jesse Elser, from Germany’s SVG Lüneburg, his compatriot middle-blocker Daenan Gyimah, from Finland’s Hurrikaani Loimaa, also Brazilian outside hitter Hugo de Leon Guimaraes will join the club, from Coupe de France winners Nantes.

Players who said goodbye are Spanish outside-hitter Juan Manuel González Limón, who came to Sète in what was his second experience in the French championship after 2017/18 with the colors of Narbonne, young opposite Cheikh Diop, who will defend the colors of Chaumont in the upcoming season, Estonian middle blocker Ardo Kreek, after 4 seasons, outside hitter Timo Beriot, who come to Sète in 2018, libero Romain Devèze who, after two seasons, will play for Champions of France Saint Nazaire, and Argentine outside hitter Lisandro Zanotti, who’ll return to Narbonne.

Moreover, opposite Celestin Cardin has been confirmed after a first season in Sète marked with a bad knee injury, together with middle blocker Maximiliano Gauna, who will defend the colors of Sète for the fifth season in a row.
