European Silver League: all results of first week

2024 European Silver League started on Friday with first three games, played in Iceland, and more precisely at Digranes Kopavogur.
The hosts celebrated a hard-fought 1-3 (21:25, 26:24, 22:25, 25:27) win over Faroe Islands, with 26 points from Hafsteinn Már Sigurdsson (52% in attack and 4 aces), but collapsed on Sunday over current leaders Israel, 0-3 (15:25, 11:25, 12:25), after only 65 minutes of play!
On Saturday, the same Israel destroyed also Faroe Islands 3-0 (25:11, 25:12, 25:13) in 61 minutes, with 13 winning blocks, 54% of team performance in attack and 17 points from top scorer Shay Liberman (65% in attack and 4 winning blocks).
