Week 2 of 2024 Volley Ball Nations League is over.
Italy conclude their campaing with a clear 3-0 (25:18, 25:15, 25:21) win over the Netherlands.
This win marks the end of a successful week for Italy, with the rivals’ bomber Nimir Abdel-Aziz, able to secure only 9 points, while outside hitter Maarten Van Garderen emerged as the Netherlands’ top scorer with 14 points.
Among the winners, Yuri Romanò scored 18 points and Alessandro Michieletto also contributed with 16 points.
Italy’s record for Pool 4 in Ottawa stands at three wins and one tie-break loss, earning them 10 points. They also top the current standings with a total of 7 wins and 21 points.
