In a Saturday friendly match between Poland and Japan, ended with the score of 2-3 (25:23, 20:25, 19:25, 25:23, 15:17) in favor of the latter, Japanese national team middle blocker Kentaro Takahashi suffered a serious-looking injury, and he was carried off the court on a stretcher and later transported to the hospital.
The incident occurred when he attempted to save a blocked ball, leading to a fall that left him momentarily unconscious.

Luckily, on Sunday morning, Kentaro reassured volleyball fans with an Instagram post saying, “Thank you for your concern. Kentaro is fine.”
