Canada confirmed their title in Pan American Volleyball Cup. USA defeated in four sets

Canada defeated USA with the score of 3-1 (26:24, 26:24, 26:28, 25:19) in gold medal match of the 2024 XVII Pan American Men’s Volleyball Cup, led by Isaac Heslinga who left the court with 16 points to his name well supported by captain Jesse Elser who added 15 and Jordan Canham, with 14. The U.S. top scorer was Gabriel García with 20 points, followed by Daniel Wetter (11 points), and Cooper Robinson and Brett Wildman (9 points each).

Puerto Rico triumphed over Cuba to secure the bronze medal in the tournament.
The winners outperformed their rivals in several key areas, leading in attacks with a 44-42 advantage and in blocks with a 14-12 edge. Although Cuba excelled in serves, winning 8-6, it was not enough to secure victory.
Klistan Lawrence was the top scorer for Puerto Rico with 22 points, followed by Pedro Molina with 15 points and Omar Hoyos with 11 points. On the Cuban side, Carlos Santana led with 16 points, supported by Víctor Flores with 15 points and Alexis Wilson with 13 points.

Jesse Elser received the Most Valuable Player award as well as Best Server award, scoring 78 points in the competition, while Jackson Howe was named Second Best Blocker and Max Elgert Best Setter.
Other individual awards included Dusan Bonacic of Chile as First Best Attacker, Colombia’s Daniel Aponza as First Best Blocker, Cuban Víctor Andreu as Second Best Attacker, and Carlos Santana as Best Opposite.
Mason Briggs of the U.S. was Best Receiver, Gabriel García Best Scorer, and Enger Mieses of the Dominican Republic Best Libero and Best Digger.
