EuroVolley 2026: Norway stun Montenegro in last game of first day of qualifiers

In last game of first day of Qualification Phase of CEV Eurovolley 2026, in Pool C, Norway down Montenegro in just three sets in front of their home fans at Sparebanken SĂžr Amfi in Arendal, 3-0 (25:19, 28:26, 25:20).
The winners made the difference above all in blocking, scoring 13 points from this element (8 for Montenegro), 5 only from Petter Østvik, while Oskar Espeland left the court as top scorer with 19 points to his name well supported by Jonas Kvalen, who added 14 (the same number of points of Vojin Cacic, on the other side of the net.
The competition will continue on Wednesday when, in Pool C, Croatia will face Israel.
